Katavi and Mahale Safari

Day 1:

Fly from Arusha or Dar to Katavi National Park, the tour will be taken into an isolated and untrammelled park. Afternoon game drive in the true wilderness sanctuary which provides courageous souls with an inspiring tastes of Africa.
Later in the evening drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 2:

Morning walking tour with an armed ranger to see the sights of Katavi associated floodplains, the area where is the heaven for myriad water birds and densest concentrations of hippo and crocodile, then regain your safari truck and continue with game views in the truncated arm of the Rift Valley and the hypnotically of scrambled woodland which is home of ample and elusive populations of eland, sable and roan antelopes.

Day 3:

The game viewing continues to explore the earth wonders with the support of floodplains the area where opt as the refugee spot for abundance of giraffe, zebra, impala and reedbuck  and provide easy pickings for the numerous lion prides and spotted hyena clans whose territories converge on this floodplains, and also this is converge place too for elephants and buffalo.

Day 4:

Morning game drive as the truck will lead the way to the airstrip to catch up a flight to Mahale National Park, met upon your arrival and take a boat transfer to park which containing some of the last remains wild chimpanzees in Africa.

Day 5-6:

Walking safaris in the beautiful, lowland forest allow close encounters with a vast array of birds and animals, including a group of accustomed chimpanzees.

The occasion of track chimps in their natural habitat in Mahale is the main event for tourist attraction in this area, with its terrain mostly covered with rugged and hills that dominated by the chain of Mahale Mountains on the other hand the tour may shifted to the shore for snorkeling, fishing and kayaking and later relaxing in the pristine and white sandy beaches.

Day 7:          

After breakfast then takes boat transfer to Kigoma with option visits of historical sites of Ujiji town dated back to the days of Germany colonial era, and then heading to the airstrip for your flight to Arusha/Dar
